8 Pressure Points to Get Rid of Annoying Aches All Over Your Body

loading...

There are many ways to relieve bodily aches and pains. You’ve probably heard of exercise as an effective method of pain relief because it releases endorphins from your body, which blocks pain and is associated with feelings of pleasure. (1)

As for your nutritional intake, we can’t leave out the fact that feeding your body with the right kinds of food can alleviate and even eliminate the pain you’re feeling. This article contains a detailed list of foods you can eat to effectively treat pain.

In addition to these two methods, the use of pressure points in your body is one that’s grown tremendous popularity in the world. It is commonly known as acupressure.

What is Acupressure and How It Works

acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient healing method that dates back over 5,000 years ago from China. It uses the power and sensitivity of the hand to hit pressure points and meridians in certain parts of the body to relieve pain, detoxify the body, and tone facial and back muscles.

When acupressure points are stimulated, they release muscular tension, promote circulation of the blood, and enhance the body’s life force energy to aid healing. Here are some ways you can use this natural method to reduce physical pain and help with mental imbalances in your body.
