My Healthy Home in Florida

In 2002 I began research on how to design and build a healthy home. I started out with the goal of creating a toxic free environment to support the healing of my body, but it evolved into a way of life. It's been a long journey, but we are finally settled and enjoying our beautiful home.

On this page I will share with you some of the ups and downs of building our home as well as providing you with concrete information to be able to get started on designing your own healthy home. I probably spent hundreds of hours researching how to build a green home and I just couldn't seem to find clear specific information on low cost green home building. That's why one of the areas I specifically focus on is "BUDGET" because apparently no one else had one as small as ours!
