Healthy Living Resorts: Healthy Travel"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not."Healthy Travel is certainly something that is very personal as is your definition of Healthy Living Resorts. Some of us view a package vacation to the Caribbean as a healthy resort vacation. Others of us view a Shamanic healing ceremony in Ecuador as a healthy retreat. Some of us need to go straight to the five star spa resorts. It is all relative.
But the general concept of healthy travel is to step outside of yourself and experience something new, something that will expand your horizons giving you more tools to deal with daily life. And of course it must be relaxing and stress free. I also feel that we need to take time to understand other cultures and the impact we as individuals have on the world. And to look at traveling as another aspect to holistic living. The opportunities are endless to incorporate giving and learning into our traveling. As well as being cognizant of the impact we have on the environment. Having recently returned from Ecuador it has opened my eyes to many different opportunities to incorporate the needs of my mind, body and spirit into every traveling experience.
Below you will find links and articles that will provide you wonderful information and enable you to design your own healthy travel plans.
