Maxim Personal Hygiene Product Review and GiveawaySometimes you think you cover all your basis, you know dot every 'i' and cross every 't,' but often times we miss the obvious and that is just what I have been doing for the past ten years. Yup I live a totally organic lifestyle - all organic foods, non-toxic household and personal care items - I even built a healthy home, but believe it or not I forgot one of the most important things, personal hygiene. That's right, I have been using toxic tampons all my adult life and didn't even blink an eye. The light bulb finally went off when Maxim contacted me to do a product review. What's the Product?
First Impressions Well I was hoping they would send a box of tampons to review instead of various samples, but really who needs more than one to know if it works or not. I can't say I am looking forward to this review since it comes with... well you know. How I used it
Maxim also sent along Organic Cotton Rounds which are possibly the softest thing I have ever had the luxury of rubbing against my face, as well as Organic Cotton Balls and Swabs which were equally as soft. Who knew that there was actually a difference in cotton rounds? Overall I would definitely give Maxim two thumbs up, not only for creating quality products, but for creating an affordable alternative for women. If you get a chance drop by their site and read a bit about it, their story is quite touching. The company was founded because of one father's passion to create safe products for the three most important women in his life, his wife and two daughters. Go Maxim! How does Mother Earth feel about this product? Mother Earth feels pretty darn good about Maxim Products, not only because of the obvious use of chemical free, pesticide free, synthetic free, organic cotton that also happens to be hypoallergenic and 100% irritation free, but she is thrilled with the fact that Maxim's tampons are biodegradable, designed to compost quickly and safely - that means less waste! Also, Maxim feminine hygiene products are packed in Recycled or Recyclable Cardboard Packaging. Pretty darn good I would say....saving the Earth one women at a time. Is it a Healthy Product? UHH Yeah.... anything going into your body that contains toxins should be eliminated. It is that simple, and these products are made from 100% organic cotton and are 100% toxin-free. Healthy? Absolutely. How does this product impact my wallet? The organic cotton balls, rounds and swabs were comparable to non-organic and organic, the tampons were priced competitively compared to other non-toxic tampons, but much higher than the ones that are toxic. Of course, the smart answer seems obvious. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Without hesitation! Bottom Line:

UMMMMMM... well I really don't think I need to get into detail here, but what I can say is that I found Maxim tampons to work equally well as the current brand I use without the possible side effects from the added chlorine/dioxin ingredients, which is, well, to put it simply, possible death.
