The Path to Healthy Living, Issue #0013-- Do Something Healthy for Yourself May 10, 2008 |
|||
May 9, 2008 TODAY’S FOCUS Do Something Healthy For Yourself Small changes make a big difference. Commit to making one small change in each of the areas of your life, your mind, your body, and your soul to create more balance and to get you moving in the right direction. Do something healthy for yourself! Let’s start with changing something for your body: Take this simple test at World's Healthiest Foods, this quick test “will help analyze your nutritional status and provide you with information regarding the nutrients which may be found deficient in your diet as well as recommendations for which foods and recipes will help fulfill your nutritional needs.” The results are only as accurate as your responses to the questions so keep it real. OK, now remove ONE unhealthy food from your diet. Go to your food cabinet and pick one boxed, sugary food and vow to no longer consume that food. And throw the box out! Now, commit to adding ONE Healthy Food Item from the World’s Healthiest Foods test you took above to your diet. Now change something for your spiritual self: This one is equally as simple, allow yourself to FEEL. That’s it. Ok, so it probably wouldn’t hurt to have a trip to the day spa as long as you FEEL good about the experience! And finally change something for your mental health: Take the challenge, A Complaint Free World “Your thoughts create your world and your words indicate your thoughts. When you eliminate complaining from your life you will enjoy happier relationships, better health and greater prosperity. The Complaint Free program helps you set a trap for your own negativity and redirect your mind towards a more positive and rewarding life.” Commit to changing your attitude and change your life! Want a little motivation and inspiration to follow through with your small changes?
