Argan Oil Hair Serum Product ReviewMy hair is extremely dry and I am constantly looking for a chemical free, healthy way to rehydrate my hair. To date nothing, and I mean nothing, has worked. And to make matters worse my hair is turning gray, and not the beautiful soft shimmering gray, but the coarse wiry gray. So when I came across Josie Maran's Argan Oil I jumped at the chance to review this product and, trust me, I wasn't disappointed.
What's the Product?
First Impressions I received a sample bottle of Jose Maran's Argan Oil Hair Serum and right out of the gate I was excited to try this product. The hair serum comes in a glass bottle with the intention of being recycled. The ingredients are all natural, organic and paraben free. What's not to get excited about?
How does Mother Earth feel about this product? Pretty darn good. Josie Maran created their product line with the conscious desire to not only please Mother Earth but to ensure that they honored our health as well. Their line uses sustainable resources (argan oil) as well as all natural and non-toxic ingredients which far exceeds the standard. Also, all Josie Maran products are packaged in glass, aluminum, plastic or paper with the intention of being recycled. Their efforts are not only limited to the products themselves, they also practice conserving natural resources by printing only when necessary and using recycled paper and eco-friendly products in their day-to-day operations. Their display units at retail counters have been constructed from sustainable materials and they do their best to be responsible with manufacturing and shipping materials. On a community level Josie Maran also contributes; inspired by a personal interest in environmental education for children, they teamed up with Global Green to support their new Green Schools for Southern California Initiative. Bottom line, Josie Maran is out to prove one thing, "that a cosmetics company doesn't have to sacrifice luxury and performance in order to create products that are kind to the natural and social environment." Mother Earth is quite pleased indeed. Is it a Healthy Product? Absolutely. Josie Maran has strived to create a line of products that does not contain any toxic ingredients that can be harmful to individuals or the Earth. When creating their cosmetics formulas, they worked with the Environmental Working Group's website Skin Deep. The Environment Working Group's vast database on raw materials was instrumental in helping Josie Maran choose the most non-toxic ingredients for their products. This certainly goes a long way in helping us determine if a product is safe and healthy. How does this product impact my wallet? Actually, as far as all natural, organic and eco-friendly hair care products are concerned, it's not that expensive. And you don't need to use that much of it for it to be effective, so I would actually say the price is more than reasonable. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yeah, you bet. Apparently, my hair is genetic so my Mom can't wait to get her hands on my sample bottle! Bottom Line:
5 Stars. Josie Maran meets all the criteria for a superior product. Not only is the product 100% effective it was developed with a fundamental respect for the health of not only each of us, but the Earth. I have only good things to say about Josie Maran and would be thrilled to try as well as recommend any of their products.

The hair serum came with a simple yet clear set of instructions: shampoo and condition your hair, after towel drying put a few drops of the hair serum in your hand, rub your palms together to heat the oil a bit and then spread evenly throughout your hair. Almost seems too simple. I followed the instructions to the tee with high hopes. And I wasn't disappointed! This is the first product that actually helped my dry hair and to boot it didn't flatten it out; matter of fact, it was easier to style and held perfectly. I am thrilled with Josie Maran's Argan Oil Hair Serum. It met and exceeded all my expectations on the first try. The only problem I had was that the sample bottle was too small! Needless to say I ordered one.
