BioGaia Product Review and GiveawayI am a mother of a three year old and I am constantly trying to figure out creative ways to supplement her diet. I tried on two occasions to give her medicine and it was like trying to tame a wild dingo, so when it comes to supplements I assumed I would have the same problem. So when BioGaia contacted me regarding a product review I was thrilled with their inventive, yet simple idea of adding probiotics to your child's daily life, and was excited to try their product. What's the Product?
First Impressions What an ingenious idea, putting probiotics in simple oil suspended in a straw. All kids like to drink out of straws, right?, this is going to be a no brainer! This is a win win situation, my daughter gets to use a straw and I get the comfort of knowing she gets the additional probiotics that I know she needs to maintain a healthy immune system. I can't wait to try this one out. How I used it
OK, so I let my daughter know I have a special surprise for her and that she can use one every single day. She was very excited about her surprise and she even helped me unwrap the straw and place it in her drink and then... she refused to use it! To my chagrin she was, time and time again, unwilling to use a straw. Unbeknownst to me I have the only child in America that does not like to use straws! Who knew? So now I am stuck, how does one complete a review without literally testing the product? Simple. I believe both children and adults should supplement their diets with probiotics as long as the supplement is 100% percent natural and does not contain sugar or preservatives. And BioGaia meets that criteria with the added benefit of finding a creative way of getting kids to add probiotics to their diets, well most kids that is. Despite my challenges I know that this is a wonderful product. How does Mother Earth feel about this product? In this world, balance is everything and that includes our body. Ensuring that our children are being brought up with a healthy and strong immune system is certainly something that makes Mother Earth smile. Is it a Healthy Product? Absolutely, the word probiotic means ' for life' as opposed to antibiotic which means 'against life.' Probiotics are clinically proven to have health fortifying benefits from improving digestion to improving one's overall immune health. How does this product impact my wallet? The price is comparable to any 30-day supplement. If we are talking improved health, it's more than worth it. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Absolutely, but I would check first to see if their child has an aversion to straws! Bottom Line:
4 stars. If my daughter had used the straw, it would definitely be 5 stars!
