Kicking Horse Coffee Product Review and Giveaway

I love coffee, but I was getting kind of tired of my brand of coffee. It was starting to taste a little dull and was even lacking that good coffee aroma. Kicking Horse Coffee brought the flavor and smell of a great coffee shop home to my own kitchen.

What's the Product?

First Impressions

I started with Kick Ass and from the moment I smelled this coffee, I knew it was going to be good. The coffee that I'm used to drinking has an okay smell, but when this one starting brewing, I felt like I had entered a high-end coffee shop. But that was nothing compared to the taste. It was delicious. I made a fairly strong pot and it was dark, full-bodied and tasted much better than I even expected. It was truly the best cup of coffee I have had since I can't remember when - better than other expensive store bought coffees and even better than Starbucks. Truly Kick Ass! About a week later, I opened up the 454 Horse Power. The beans were very dark and it smelled fantastic even before I started the grinder. This coffee tasted very similar to Kick Ass. I couldn't really tell them apart. I would say they are both winners!

How I used it

I like my coffee with cream and agave sweetener.

How does Mother Earth feel about this product?

This is an organic coffee grown in the shade of the rainforest canopy. It's a Fair Trade Certified product and is produced by a company that has been a licensee of TransFair Canada since it's creation. Mother Earth is happy indeed.

Is it a Healthy Product?

I guess the healthiness of coffee is up for debate, but again it is organic.

How does this product impact my wallet?

It's expensive, but it taste like it should be expensive!

Would I recommend this product to a friend?

Yes, and I already have informed a couple of my coffee loving friends to give it a try. I give it my highest recommendation.

Bottom Line:

5 out of 5 stars! If you are a coffee connoisseur, a cup of either 454 Horse Power or Kick Ass will leave you very satisfied. As good, if not better than that served in the best coffee houses. I have yet to taste the other flavors offered by Kicking Horse Company, but I plan on it. I'm pretty sure that any coffee this company puts out would taste pretty darn good.
