Healthy Kids: Our Kids Health
These days' keeping your kids healthy is a big job! With all the information available on what we should and should not be giving our kids it can be just plain overwhelming. Do I vaccinate my child? Is aspartame safe? Is MSG the reason my child is suffering from migraines? Is my overweight child truly at risk?
It just all seems too much after a while and we tend to become desensitized and over inundated with information; and if we add to that the fact that fast foods, soft drinks, candy and all sorts of unhealthy foods abound, what is a parent to do? How do we sort out all the good and bad stuff out there within reach of our children? How do we get our family to cooperate once we decide what to do? How do we begin and, better yet, how do we sustain a healthy diet and how do we decide what to give and not give our children? After all, it seems that for every study out there telling you not to vaccinate, there are several others that encourage you to do so. The trick is to sort out the information and use your best judgment to make the best decision for your children's health and well being. As most parents, I want the best for my child and in today's world that means staying informed about what is beneficial for my child and what isn't. My goal is to give my daughter the best start I possibly can in life and that includes good nutrition, exercise, a chemical free lifestyle and lots of love. Our family lives in a chemical free home, we use chemical free products and we eat organic. In my own quest to live as holistically and healthy as possible, I will be sharing with you all the valuable knowledge I gain along the way in the hope that you will find the information useful and to help you sort out the facts so you can make a better decision as to what to do for your family. Below you will find an array of information, links and articles that I have found to be helpful in promoting healthy living in my own family's life.
