Lily Organics Product Review and Giveaway

I am always on the lookout for organic cosmetics and creams; in fact, I would rather go into my kitchen and get some olive oil for my body and face than use some of the products in the market, which are full of chemical. Therefore, the Mist sounded like a good possibility, the word "organic" caught my eye.

What's the Product?

First Impressions

My first impression was that the bottle seemed rather small. I then tried to find directions on how to use the Mist and found none, only a warning to not get the mist in your eyes. I had to go online to find out how to use it. When I went online I found out that the Mist comes in a larger container. It is nice that it can be used anytime, even over makeup, and the size of the small bottle is convenient to carry on one's purse for those moments when you need a refresher; also, it is great for traveling since the small bottle has less than 3oz of liquid as required by the airlines. There was no particular smell that I could readily identify.

How I used it

I sprayed the Mist on my clean face (with my eyes closed!). The mist felt cool and clean. When it dried, it left my skin feeling a little tight, which I guess it is a good thing. What I like best about the Mist is that you can use it as a refresher on a hot day…..I live in a southern state, so I find myself reaching for it whenever I am outdoors....and I don't feel guilty overusing knowing that it is all organic.

How does Mother Earth feel about this product?

Mother Earth would have preferred a glass container rather than plastic…imagine all those empty little bottles all over Mother Earth waiting years and years to biodegrade….She appreciates the hand pump spray. And the fact that this product is 100% natural and organic, from ingredients grown on an organic farm, which is excellent; no synthetic chemicals to pollute Mother Earth.

Is it a Healthy Product?

Again, there were no ingredients listed on the bottle. But, this is what I found on their website: "(VEGAN) Purified water, certified organic comfrey, seaweeds, lily, certified organic chamomile, certified organic calendula, and kosher vegetable glycerin, essential oils of ylang ylang and lavender, and pure citrus seed extract". I think this is a healthy product all right.

How does this product impact my wallet?

The small spray bottle at $5.75 plus shipping is priced about right, but then again it may not last too long if used frequently. The large bottle is appropriately priced at $17.99.

Would I recommend this product to a friend?

Yep.
