Oil Pulling - In it for the long haul

by KJ
(Alberta Canada)

I started oil pulling approximately 3 weeks ago with sunflower oil and am doing it at least once a day. Took a few days to get up to the 20 mins that is suggested. But right from the start I noticed that I would have to spit after 5-10 mins. as the oil was so thick with white goop! Yuk! Then I would "re-load" and continue.

Now I try and oil pull for 1/2 - 1 hr. every morning while I read the newspaper and check my email. I still have to spit several times and the white stuff is still very thick. I'm not noticing much physical improvement (I have MS) but have had worsening of sore muscles and stiffness. So I am assuming that this is the 'cleansing crisis'. What really has motivated me to continue is this awful looking thick white goop!

Whatever it is, I do not want it in my body and it is definitely not just saliva or spit. I am having gallbladder surgery soon and have had lots of pain and problems with that plus constipation so I'm sure my body is very toxic. My mouth has never felt cleaner and my tongue is once again a nice pink color, plus my skin is much clearer. Of all the supplements, meds, cleanses and concoctions I've tried (and believe me...there have been many), this is by far the cheapest and seems to be getting the toxins out the quickest.

Oh and I too have noticed more energy.
