Squishy Toes Product Review and GiveawaySince I have two artificial hips, I am always careful in the shower so as not to slip. So, when I saw this product I thought it would be the ideal thing for me. What's the Product?
First Impressions
I was anxious to try the mat so I took into the shower right away. As soon as it got completely saturated it became very soft and comfortable; it just felt great on my feet.
 How does Mother Earth feel about this product? Kelly Berrigan's, one of the creators of squishy toes web site says that this product is "derived from a renewable resource", which means that a substance of economic value can be replaced or replenished in the same amount or less time as it takes to draw the supply down. Simply put, by using plant cellulose to create squishy toes mats they are using a natural resource that will re-grow before the supply of plants is impacted. Great concept, creating sustainable products is the way of the future. The site also states that it is "biodegradable", which means that the product is able to be broken down by natural processes into more basic components. . To be a bit more specific it is broken down into hummus, which is the dark organic material found in soil produced by the decomposition of vegetable or animal matter and is essential to the fertility of the earth. Now that certainly pleases Mother Earth. Now that certainly pleases Mother Earth. Is it a Healthy Product? Well it is certainly healthy for the planet and if it keeps you from slipping in the shower that should count for something! How does this product impact my wallet? With the shipping and handling, each mat cost $20. A bit pricey, I think, even if you buy two at the time. But I do like their refund policy.

My first impression was positive. The mat is lightweight, a comfortable size, the color is attractive, it would be simply enough to package if I wanted to take it on my travels, and the fact that is biodegradable is definitely a plus in our home. Plus, it is made in the USA
