Waiting for Disability

My story begins just last month when I first filed for disability. So, I don't have anything to report on Disability as of yet. I just hope and pray that they will eventually understand the whole of all of my problems.
After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia seven years ago along with five foot surgeries & osteoarthritis in my right knee, I discovered it was just impossible to work, esp. a six-to eight hour shift.
My stamina has declined dramatically which I don't think the disability board takes into consideration. I fought to try and work because I felt I had no other choice until last Winter when I just couldn't anymore. I'm in my mid-fifties & realize the situation is not going to improve. So, I wait for their decision which I'm not real hopeful for. But I figure a person can't win without trying.
Given my medical history I would be hopeful that I would receive Social Security Disability on my first try. I have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia...from a general health practitioner as well as a rheumatoid specialist. It's been documented for at least the past five years that I have 16 out of 18 positive pressure points. I've also had five foot surgeries, (four on one foot.)
You name it and I've had everything imaginable wrong with my feet. From bilateral bunionectomies-osteotomy with a cast, hammer toes, dislocated toes (three with long pins inserted temporarily. Morton's neuroma with frieberg's infarction and lastly plantar facsitis. The fibromyalgia causes horrible facial pain that no drugs can even phase. I was also diagnosed with major depression 15 years ago among everything else.
Anyway, I hope that my story helps someone know that they're not alone. I would love to hear from people out there with similar circumstances. Thanks for letting me share my story.
