Yoga
Definition: During the past 80 years, health professionals in India and the West have begun to investigate the therapeutic potential of Yoga. To date, thousands of research studies have been undertaken and have shown that with the practice of yogic meditation a person can, indeed, learn to control such physiologic parameters as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory function, metabolic rate, skin resistance, brain waves, body temperature, and many other bodily functions. My Experience: Initially I found Yoga difficult to add to my daily routine. The Yoga poses were hard on my body and triggered my disorder. It wasn’t until I read one of Deepak Chopra’s books and found some Yoga stretching exercises that I really got started. Now every morning I go to the beach and do Yoga for about an hour and then meditate for a half hour. It is one of the best things I could have done for myself. And when I don’t do it I can really tell the difference.
Would I do it again? I DO IT EVERYDAY! ![]() ![]()
