- 2 cups of water
- 1-inch piece of ginger
- 1-2 slices of lemon
- Combine the ginger, lemon and water in a saucepan or small pot on the stove.
- Bring to a boil with high heat.
- Once the tea is boiling, reduce the heat down to a simmer.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from stove and allow it to cool slightly.
- Remove lemon and ginger.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy!
