When making celery salt you can use the salt of your choosing. One recommended option is Himalayan Pink Salt, for it’s unique taste and high iron content.
- Quarter cup of a salt of your choosing
- Quarter cup of celery seeds
- Grind both ingredients in a coffee grinder or spice mill
- Grind to preferred consistency, can range from almost powder-like to granulated
- Store in a glass jar and label
This not only reduces the amount of salt that you use per meal, but it also ensures that you are avoiding all of the harmful agents and fillers that are commonly added to commercially produced salts.
