How To Use Garlic To Cure Fungal and Bacterial Infections

garlicforstaphinfection loading...

Garlic adds flavor to foods, pizzazz to pizzas, and a smell behind a smile. But it taste sooo good. Aside from just tasting good, garlic has a ton of health benefits, least of all allicin. The active ingredient in garlic, allicin helps fight bacterial and fungal infection.

Fresh garlic is the only choice. Organic is even better. Natural grown and unprocessed foods always deliver the most good because nothing has been burnt or boiled out. Garlic may even have the potential to cure MRSA – Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

Staph Infection

A 2003 study published in Medical News Today proved allicin’s preventative properties. MRSA, or Staph Infection as it is commonly called, is a superbug that doesn’t respond to a lot of typical antibiotics.

Those treated with garlic healed within days. What was the trick? Research found that allicin has specific immune boosting properties, and even the ability to restore antibody responses that have ceased. Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, this natural antibiotic gives health back to your whole body.

Call Allicin

Using products that you’ve already got at home is the smart and easy way to cure infection. Allicin has even been known to cure and prevent the common cold, so garlic should always be on hand.

Cure Staph Infection Garlic

Staph infection is spread through contact. The bacteria is spread when an infected area of skin touches another surface it can attach to. A lot of people carry the bacteria but never get the symptoms of infection.

The bacteria is hardy and can live on porous or fibrous material like pillowcases and towels. If you develop a staph infection there are different garlic-based courses of action you can take.

Option 1:

Eat 2-4 grams of fresh garlic a day. One clove weights approximately 1 gram.

Option 2

If you don’t want to eat raw garlic, eat 600-1200 mg of aged garlic extract daily. The University of Maryland Medical Center recommends dividing the dosage – take 400 mg at each meal for a total of 1200 mg.

Option 3

20 mL of garlic oil is another option. People prefer the liquid allicin supplement to eating raw garlic and taking supplements, as it feels the closest to real garlic with less drastic taste. Added to a glass of water further dilutes the oil, and gets it into the system just fine.

Option 4

Use garlic topically. A 2003 study from the University of London found that garlic (and allicin) removed staph infections scheduled for surgery, avoiding surgery and healing the wounds naturally.

Crush the garlic to activate the allicin found within. Wait 2 minutes and mash the clove. Apply the mashed cloved to the affected area and cover with a dry bandage. Change daily and use a fresh clove when changing the dressing.
