Cage Free vs Free Range
When you go to the grocery store to buy eggs, you’ll see terms on the cartons like “cage-free” eggs and “free-range” eggs. But most people don’t know the difference between the two. As it turns out, “cage-free” eggs might mean that the chickens do not live in tiny cages, but they’ll still never get to go outside into the sunlight.
“Free-range” eggs, on the other hand, means that chickens are free to move around outside of their own volition, or at least that is what it means on this Otaika Valley Free Range farm in New Zealand!
This video brings a huge smile to my face every time I see it ENJOY!
