Organic Sesame Oil
Sesame seeds, and the oil made from them offer a multitude of health benefits. By oil pulling with organic sesame oil you can relieve sensitivity caused by wearing down of the enamel. It also has antibacterial properties, protecting you from oral infections.
You can also massage the gums with sesame oil to deal with inflammation and reduce swelling. Try swishing sesame oil three times a week to fight against sensitivity.
Better Brushing Habits
People who suffer from sensitive teeth should take care of how they brush. They should avoid from brushing too hard and ensuring that their teeth are free of plaque. It is important that they brush frequently with a soft-bristled brush and floss at least once a day.
Ground clove works great for relieving pain of sensitive teeth. Mix ¼ of a teaspoon of ground clove with 3 or 4 drops of water to form a paste. Rubbing the paste over your teeth after meals is recommended to help heal the pain caused by sensitivity.
Baking soda can be used to help treat sensitive teeth and relieve pain. Mix ¼ of a teaspoon of baking soda, along with prickly ash and sea salt with 4 or 5 drops of water. Vitamin B1 and Calcium
Thiamine or vitamin B1 great for reducing pain and teeth sensitivity. 100 mg of thiamine a day is recommended, and a great way to get it naturally is with sunflower seeds, black beans, and lentils. Calcium also works great for relieving pain and helping to rebuild worn down enamel.
Aloe Vera isn’t just a natural remedy for burns, it also has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to relieve pain. It is available in gel form and can be rubbed on the gums to help with sensitivity caused by inflamed gums. Apply it twice daily for the best results.
Chamomile & Thyme
Chamomile and thyme teas both work to reduce inflammation of gums and kill bacteria in the mouth that can cause sensitivity. Try consuming these teas regularly at tepid temperatures to prevent sensitivity.
Myrrh & Cinnamon
Myrrh can be used to heal sensitivity of damaged teeth. Mix 10 drops of myrrh with a glass of water and swish it around your mouth for 30 seconds. Use this method at least 3 times on a daily basis.
Cinnamon can be boiled with cloves for 20-30 minutes to create a tea that reduces sensitivity and kills harmful bacteria that can be found in your mouth.
