However, thanks to the humungous dairy industry (and their respective lobbyists), dairy producers are legally jamming their milk cows with growth hormones, antibiotics, and herbicide laced meals.

Since none of these toxic and dangerous elements can naturally be filtered out by the milk cows, they’re naturally passed unto the consumers who fare no better.

Consuming irresponsibly produced dairy can lead to serious complications in your endocrine system and your immune system.

My recommendation is to check which producers are amongst the worst offenders for herbicide, antibiotic, and hormone use to ultimately banish them from your home and kitchen.

Homemade Vegan Ice Cream

Before you embark on this recipe there’s a few hardware requirements that you need access to. Although not necessarily imperative, a high-powered blender makes this recipe a lot easier to execute with a better result in texture.

Finally, you’ll also need your very own ice cream maker. Or at least have a friend or family member willing to share his or her machine.

With these at your disposal, you should be good to go.

Here’s what you’ll need:

– ½ of a cup of mixed berries (you can use your favorite, I personally prefer raspberries)

– ¼ of a cup of real organic maple syrup

– ½ a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

– 1 can of full-fat coconut milk

– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

– ½ a cup of cashews

– ½ teaspoon of arrowroot powder

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Place all your ingredients in your high-powered blender. Make sure the mixture is consistently mixed and uniform in texture.

After that, it’s simply a matter of chilling your ice cream mixture for about two hours in your fridge then pouring it into your ice cream maker and following its freezing instruction.
